Graduateship Programme In Chemistry

The graduateship in Chemistry (Graduate Chemist) is an equivalent qualification to a Special Honors Degree in Chemistry of any recognized University. This course has been conducted by the Institute continuously for 40 years from May 1979. Duration of this course is four years. Once you qualify you become a Graduate Chemist, and with an experience in the field of Chemical Sciences, one will be able to climb up in the Chemistry professional ladder and become a Charted Chemist. The Graduateship programme had been formally accredited from the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK.

Entry qualifications

  • Three GCE (A/L) passes (Sri Lanka/UK) in recognized disciples (including Chemistry) or equivalent or awaiting results.  OR
  • Pass in the Diploma in Laboratory Technology (DLT)

Under the prevailing pandemic situation, we do not encourage you to visit the Institute or any public bank premises. As an alternative, prospective candidates can choose to do as follows.

  • If willing to make the payment physically, please visit the nearest BOC branch, and email the scanned bank slip and application form to the above-mentioned addresses.

Important: Please retain the original bank slip and application form as they will be collected at the start of enrollment.
